| General Data Tab |
|
The General Information Tab, shown above, is broken into four separate sections: namely Identification Information, Location Information, Route Information, and File Information. a. Identification Information. This section contains identification information regarding the Survey Point. This includes the Point ID, Station Designation, NSGS PID, Recording Number, Point Type, and Audited checkbox. The Point ID and Station Designation cannot be changed here. This must be done at the Survey Point Management Window. The NSGS PID is the point ID assigned by NSGS. The Recording Number is for any local Legal Recording Number assigned. Finally, the Audited checkbox provides you with the capability for quality control checking of Survey Point Records. Later in this manual, we will discuss how you can search for Un-Audited Records. |

d. File Information. This section contains information regarding where files may be located. The file name can be a computer path or directory, or it may be the name and file number of a filing cabinet. The second field, titled "Image File" is the file name of a digital photograph taken of the Survey Point. One planned future enhancement will be to use this field to display images in the Survey Point record as well as placing them on the Detailed Survey Point Report. |
